Abstract

Basic idea of this essay is related to development of print media in the future and their applicability in practice through a new type of organizational structure. This study is directed to integrated editorials which combine at least two platforms: print and online. The essay describes various levels of the integration process for various levels of cross-media production as well as the process of its applicability. As a result, we take into consideration transnational comparison of a number of case studies through analysis matrix and comparison of integrated editorials. The matrix refers to four main areas in the development of the process of media applicability: the volume of project, editorial management, journalistic practice and organization of work. According to this matrix, there are three models of applicability of the integration project on editorial: complete integration, crossmedia and coordination of the isolated platforms. The aim of this essay is to present a new model of media organization, which leads to a question for how long the old organizational models in media will be able to preserve the quality of their daily newspapers. The novelty which will be analyzed in this essay is the applicability of the new way of media reporting as well as the new direction of print media development.
