Abstract
This document presents some possibilities which could be applied to the new Chacaltaya experiment mainly on the calibration of this experiment on the ground with direct measurements from satellites or balloons, to select showers generated by primaries with different masses but with the same energy, to obtain an unbiased determination of the primary mass composition around the knee for given energies and to select gamma showers for very high energies.
