Abstract
The Inert Doublet Model (IDM) is a simple and yet very rich extension of the Standard Model which provides interesting scalar dark matter candidates. In these proceedings, we show that annihilation into 3 body final states WW∗ → ¯ff can significantly affect the viable parameter space of the IDM below the W threshold as well as the prospects for direct and indirect detection searches. We also show that the new viable region of the IDM between ∼ 80–150 GeV is already almost completely ruled out by the most recent results of the Xenon 100 experiment.
