Abstract

This article summarizes the status of measurements of single-topquark production at the LHC operating at a center-of-mass energy of 7TeV. As of Summer 2011, the highlights in single-top physics at CERN have been the observation of the t-channel production mode by the ATLAS collaboration with a significance of 7.6 standard deviations and first indications of Wt associated production by CMS with 2.7 standard deviations. The measured cross sections are in good agreement with the predictions by the standard model.
