Abstract

The paper provides an overview of the current status and main physics results of the LHC experiments. The first part describes the new measurements and major results achieved by ALICE, LHCb, LHCf and TOTEM. The most recent electroweak measurements performed by ATLAS and CMS are then discussed together with the latest searches for SUSY. The very interesting results achieved by the two general-purpose experiments in searching for the Standard Model Higgs boson are lastly discussed together with the prospects for the current 2012 running period.
