Abstract
New Physics (NP) beyond the Standard Model (SM) can be revealed by analysing processes which are expected to occur with very low probability in the SM; among these, the flavour-changing neutral current (FCNC) decay B0d → K∗0μ+μ− is particularly promising. Recent results from the LHCb Collaboration show that the expected values of the parameter P5 differ by more than three standard deviations from the measurements in a well-defined interval of the dimuon invariant mass. The results of angular analyses performed by the ATLAS and CMS experiments at the LHC are here presented and compared with other experiments and several theoretical predictions.
