Abstract
The Mu2e experiment searches the muon coherent conversion into an electron in the electric field of a nucleus. This represents an example of Charged Lepton Flavor Violation process. Mu2e will set a limit on the conversion rate Rμe < 6 × 10−17 (@ 90% C.L.) improving the current limit by four orders of magnitude.
