Abstract
The present work proposes a theoretical reflection, an empirical analysis and a visual approach to Nosy Be, an island of Madagascar, in which an Italian woman, Manina Consiglio, has been working for the local community for about 20 years, using the proceeds of solidarity tourism activities. Beyond the emotional charge, in itself already apt to justify a simple reasoned narration of the case study, in the present work we propose an analysis of the phenomenon in modeling terms according to an inductive approach, able to extrapolate from the specific focus externality, of a different sign, of general value.
