Abstract
Object-oriented (OO) state estimation (SE) is presented for radial distribution systems. The SE problem is formulated as usual; an OO modeling of the distribution systems is presented, where classes yield the equations that describe the SE problem. The OO implementation of the method is presented, and its most relevant features are discussed. The application of the proposed method and OO implementation to a 69-branch system shows the viability of the approach.
