The existing ECWGB code which describes the quasi-optical propagation of a Gaussian beam of electron cyclotron (EC) waves has been updated by including a new module for the computation of the EC driven current. The actual version of the ECWGB code is being extensively used for calculations of EC driven current in the ITER plasma in the framework of MHD modes control and stabilization by means of localized EC current drive. This report has been written as a short reference to the present version of the ECWGB code. The theoretical formulation of the code, together with the main equations, is presented in Sec. II. A few typical results obtained with ECWGB relevant to EC wave injection into the ITER plasma of scenario 2 are presented in Sec. III
