Abstract
Generalized parton distributions (GPDs) accessed in hard exclusive reactions encode information on such aspects of the QCD structure of the nucleon as its 3D parton image and the spin content. This contribution presents an overview of the status and recent progress in the phenomenology of GPDs and hard exclusive reactions.
