Abstract
The ATLAS experiment at the LHC is taking advantage of its large integrated luminosity and sophisticated muon and dimuon triggers to make competitive measurements of heavy flavour production and decay. Inclusive heavy quark production and heavy flavour jet production is discussed before turning to charm particle and onium production. The production and decay of individual B hadron species is then addressed, including the current best measurement of the Λb lifetime. A much improved analysis of CP related quantities in Bs decays is presented, before turning to recent results and prospects for rare B decays.
