Abstract
The paper analyzes the relations between Italy and the Iberian Peninsula (and especially with Castile, Aragon and Catalonia) between the 13th and 14th centuries, from three different points of view. The first one is the circulation of words, with particular regard to the Castilian and Catalan terms entered in the Italian dialects, especially in the regions placed under the Crown of Aragon. The second one is the circulation of texts, and in particular of the vernacular translation. The last one is the circulation of knowledge, with particular regard to the circulation of recipe books.
