Abstract

The major difference in the Palestinian experience is related to the political situation and its daily ramifications on the ground. With the completion of the Separation Wall, Israel has systematized the imprisonment of Palestinians and almost diminished to nil chance for development. The proposed essay will deal with the insurmountable difficulties in protecting the vast majority of cultural heritage in Palestine: a place where both architectural and landscape heritage are deteriorating in an alarming way.
