Abstract

Improving a mean-field approach to the nuclear matter equation of state (EoS), few-nucleon correlations are investigated. The contribution of clusters to the thermodynamic properties is suppressed at increasing density because of Pauli blocking. Continuum correlations are implemented. Applications to heavyion collisions (HIC) are discussed.
